The 2011 AAUS Diving for Science Symposium will be hosted by the University of Maine and will take place in Portland, ME, October 10th thru 15th, with the main science meetings taking place on the 14th and 15th.   Workshops and the DSO meetings will be held earlier in the week at the Darling Marine Center (http://www.dmc.maine.edu/) and the main meetings will be held at the Portland Regency Hotel and Spa (http://www.theregency.com) with a banquet following the meetings on Saturday at The Portland Club (http://www.theblacktieco.com/ourvenue_portlandclub.shtml).

Please check back soon for a tentative schedule as well as registration materials.  Registration will begin at the end of 2010.  October in Portland is "leaf peeping" season and a very popular time for tourists.  Please plan to reserve your space early!
