2017 AAUS-Standards revisions/updates

AAUS is in the process of revising and updating the AAUS standards manual and we would like community feedback on changes that they would like to see. Our goals are to streamline and update the manual as well as better define some sections.  Please visit www.aaus.org/standards_update to complete a short survey about potential changes and submit your suggestions.

The newly approved Rebreather Standards are included in the 2016 Verson of the AAUS Standards below. Only OMs that use that mode of diving should incorporate these new standards into their standards manuals.

When standards manuals are submitted as part of an Organizational Member application, a completed standards manual checksheet must be uploaded with the manual.  Use the 2013 version below which should cover the 2016 version as well.

Similar to the standards manual checklist above, current or potential OMs may wish to use the following tool to self audit their program.  This is not currently required to be submitted to AAUS.
